Pakistan fired with heavy mortar on farmers working in fields, heavy shelling of Pak in Jammu, and Kashmir Mankot area of Poonch near LOC.

Pakistan fired with heavy mortar, targeting the farmers and the Indian Army forward posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district. The Pakistani army has already been plotting to intimidate villagers living along the Line of Control.

Farmers were also working in the fields in Kasba and Kirani sectors of Poonch district at 3 pm on Saturday.

Apart from this, Pakistani Rangers opened fire from Karol Panga post on the international border of the Hiranagar sector of Kathua district on Friday night. Pak targeted the Karol Mathers and Karol Krishna villages of the Indian region.

The fire continued till Saturday morning. Shells were fired from machine guns and mortars. 19 battalions of BSF gave a befitting reply.

On Saturday morning, 121 battalions of CRPF, SOG Hiranagar, and Chakda police conducted a joint search operation in the area in anticipation of terrorist infiltration.

Meanwhile, the family agitated at sending the dead body of jawan without revealing suicide

Family members were agitated after the death of Rifleman Rakshit Chaudhary, who was found dead under suspicious circumstances in the Uri sector of Kashmir, like suicide and sending his body home without military honors.

Kuldeep Singh, father of Rakshit, who originally lived in Barota Camp and presently Sanjay Nagar, said that his son was brave. He was enlisted in the army for his service to the country. He can never commit suicide.

Apart from Rakshit’s father, other members of the family demonstrated against the government by placing his body on Satwari Chowk on Saturday.
