Kangaroo team head coach Justin Langer has said that some veteran players can play in a practice match played with a pink ball before the day-night Test match against a team captained by Virat Kohli.

Langer has said, “We’ve had six injuries (6 player injuries) so far, which is really unusual.

Smith will also be part of the leadership group, as he is the former captain of the team. He was out due to a ban in the previous series.
