Bengaluru Blast Case: Rameshwaram cafe blast culprit caught? Police detained 4 people and started interrogation.

Four people have been detained for questioning in connection with the bomb blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru’s Whitefield area.

Sources said Central Crime Branch officials probing the case are conducting a ‘detailed’ interrogation of the four picked up from Dharwad, Hubli, and Bengaluru.

Police sources gave this information on Saturday.

Bengaluru City Commissioner B Dayanand said the investigation into the Rameshwaram Cafe incident, which was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) on Friday afternoon, is in full swing.

He said, ‘Multiple teams are working on various clues received so far.’

Dayanand said that considering the sensitivity of the matter and security concerns, the media is appealed not to indulge in speculation and cooperate.

Bengaluru Police have registered a case under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosive Substances Act in connection with the cafe blast.

CM Siddaramaiah reached the hospital to meet the injured and said – he would take strict action against the culprits.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday assured appropriate action on the blast incident at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru.

Also, he urged the opposition BJP not to do politics on this issue. In addition, CM Siddaramaiah paid a visit to the injured victims of the Rameshwaram cafe explosion at Brookfield Hospital.

Addressing the media in Mysore, the Karnataka CM stressed that a comprehensive investigation is underway to unravel the motives behind the attack and identify the responsible parties.

CM Siddaramaiah will meet the injured in the hospital.

Siddaramaiah said, “A person wearing a mask and cap came in the bus, set the timer, and detonated the blast. Yesterday, the Home Minister and the Deputy CM paid a visit to the location. I will also visit the hospital and the spot today.”
