BMW M8 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition: Luxury car maker BMW has launched the 50 Jahre M Edition of its new M8 Competition Coupe in India.
It has been brought at a price of Rs 2.55 crore (ex-showroom). With this price, it has also become the most expensive special edition ever.
To mark the ongoing 50th anniversary of the brand’s M division, the manufacturer has launched the Zahere M Special Edition range.
It has already been introduced in the M340i, 630i M Sport, 530i M Sport, M4 Competition, X7 40i M Sport, and X4 M Sport.
At the same time, later BMW will introduce three more 50 Zaheer M editions in India.

The new Competition Coupe 50 Zahra design features a gloss black kidney grille, 20-inch black alloy wheels with red brake calipers, and an M Sport exhaust system.
Apart from this, it has been made available in four new BMW colors. It includes Daytona Beach Blue, Frozen Brilliant White, Frozen Marina Bay Blue, Frozen Deep Green, and Frozen Deep Grey.
The new badges are seen on the front, rear, and hub caps of the car, which are also given on the rest of its special edition.
Apart from all these additions, the BMW M8 Competition 50 Zahere M Edition also gets an M Carbon Pack as standard.
This pack includes a carbon fiber-finished front bumper, side air intake, exterior mirror cap, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser.
The brand claims that these carbon fiber parts help reduce the weight and aerodynamic drag of the M8.
Gets Turbocharged V8 Petrol Engine.
The powertrain of the BMW M8 Competition 50 Zahere M Edition is powered by the same 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine as the standard car.
This engine is capable of generating power of 625hp and peak torque of 750Nm. For transmission, the car is mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
It takes only 3.2 seconds for this special car to accelerate from 0 to 100 Kmph.

Updated features on the BMW M8 Competition 50 Zahere M Edition include an xDrive all-wheel-drive system and adaptive suspension.
Also, this car has been equipped with three driving modes – Comfort, Sport, and Sport + for comfortable riding. The cabin gets leather merino upholstery and an Alcantara anthracite-finished headliner.
Features include a 12.3-inch digital driver display and infotainment system, ambient lighting, Harman Kardon sound system, and wireless Apple CarPlay.
