Case registered against actress and 11 others in Bengaluru drug racket case. Police said that six of these accused have been arrested. Bengaluru Police has registered a case against Kannada films actress Ragini Dwivedi and 11 others in the drug supply case. Police say that these people used to supply narcotics through various vendors at parties.

Police said that six of these accused have been arrested. According to sources, a case has been registered on the complaint of KC Gautam, Assistant Commissioner, Central Crime Branch of Bangalore Police. In this, influential people from parties taking place in the city have been accused.

A foreign national is also involved in this. Police said apart from these 12 people, a separate case has been registered against clerk BK Ravi Shankar in the Road Transport Office. He is close to Ragini Dwivedi. He is currently in police custody in another case.

Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi arrested

Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested film actress Ragini Dwivedi in the Kannada film industry for drug use. Bengaluru’s Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Patil said that after a day-long interrogation on Friday, the actress was arrested for checking her contacts with the businessmen.

Earlier, a seven-member team of CCB including a woman police inspector Raid the actress’ residence in Yelahanka, Bangalore. Patil said that the actress would be produced before a magistrate after further medical examination for further police custody. A case has been registered against Ragini under the Drugs and Drugs Act.

In another development related to this case, CCB arrested Viren Khanna in New Delhi. Khanna is being brought to Bangalore. Earlier, with the arrest of drug trader Ravi Shankar on Thursday and Rahul Shetty on Friday, CCB has taken four people into custody.
