CBI Raid In Chandigarh: CBI raids in DRT office, documents related to bribery case seized.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team raided the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) office in Sector-17 on Monday morning itself.

After searching for some time, the CBI team left with the documents related to the bribery case. However, CBI officials have refused to divulge anything officially in this case.

Let us tell you that earlier last week itself, the recovery officer was arrested by the CBI from the office taking a bribe of 70 thousand rupees.

CBI Raid In Chandigarh: The accused was identified as Sunil Kumar. According to sources, CBI is trying to strengthen this case.

The CBI team has registered a case against recovery officer Sunil Kumar under sections of corruption.

Let us inform you that Sumit, a resident of Kaithal, had given a complaint to the CBI that the case regarding the recovery of machines was going on in the Debt Recovery Tribunal located in Sector 17.

It is alleged that one Sunil Kumar Tiwari, the recovery officer, demanded a bribe of two lakh rupees to make the recovery.

Sumit talked to the recovery officer and asked him to reduce the money when the bribe amount was more.

CBI had laid a trap to catch the accused.

In the end, a deal was done between the two for 70 thousand rupees. Recovery officer Sunil took Rs 17 and called the office of the Debt Recovery Tribunal located at Sector 17.
