CDS Bipin Rawat In Jammu: General Bipin Rawat taking stock of the security situation along the Line of Control in Rajouri-Poonch.

The CDS, who arrived to take stock of the situation arising out of the drone attack at Jammu Air Force Station.

He will take stock of the security situation along the LOC  in the Jammu division and encourage the soldiers who are foiling the conspiracies of Pakistan.

The Chief of Defense Staff on Thursday morning left for a tour of forwarding areas in Rajouri.

He will also review the security situation along the Line of Control at Akhnoor on his return after visiting Rajouri, Poonch districts.

General Rawat, who arrived in Jammu on Wednesday, in a meeting with Army officers at 16 Corps Headquarters Nagrota.

He inquired about the current security challenges and the steps being taken to meet them. He also inquired about the security situation at the Jammu Air Force Station.

After the drone attack on Jammu Air Force Station, the challenges of the army, security forces in the state have increased.

There are cases of continuous sending of drones from across the border to fuel terrorism from Pakistan.

In the last two days, drones have also been seen on the border first near Arnia and then near Kaluchak Military Station.

In such a situation, it has become necessary to ensure the security of other important institutions and buildings along with military institutions.

In such a situation, the need of the hour is to include anti-drone technology in the fleet of the army and security forces.

In such a situation, after knowing the security situation along with the LOC, meeting with the officers of the Northern Command, the CDS will leave for Delhi after wrapping up his two-day visit to Jammu.

Drone Attacks In Jammu: General Rawat learned about the situation arising out of the drone attack at Jammu Air Force Station.

Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat inquired about the situation arising out of the drone strike at Jammu Air Force Station on Wednesday evening.

According to sources, General Rawat had reached the technical airport in Jammu by a special aircraft at around 3.30 pm.

Here he took stock of the arrangements made to strengthen the security after the drone attack from senior officers of the Air Force, Army.

After this, he left for the headquarters of the 16 Corps of Army at Nagrota. There also he discussed the security scenario of the Jammu division with the army officers.
