CDS Bipin Rawat’s Helicopter Crashes: Army helicopter carrying CDS crashes in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, four dead.

According to the news agency, a total of 14 people were aboard the helicopter at the time of the accident.

These included CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, Brigadier LS Lidder, Lt Col Harjinder Singh, Naik Gursewak Singh, Naik Jitendra Kumar, Lance Naik Vivek Kumar, Lance Naik B Sai Teja, and Havildar Satpal.

According to the news agency, CDS Bipin Rawat, his staff, and some family members were on board the Mi-series helicopter of the Army that crashed between Coimbatore and Sulur in Tamil Nadu.

A search and rescue operation has been launched in the nearby areas after the accident.
