Chadi Mubarak Will Leave For The Holy Cave On August 7

Chadi Mubarak will leave for the holy cave on August 7: Amarnath Yatra 2022. Shri Amareshwar Dham Pooja will be held on the banks of the Lidder river in Pahalgam on 13th July.

The annual pilgrimage to Shri Amareshwar Dham will be held on the banks of the Lidder river in Pahalgam, South Kashmir on July 13, for the worship of the Navagraha and the flag hoisting.

With this, according to religious beliefs, the pilgrimage to Shri Amareshwar Dham will begin.

However, the holy stick Mubarak for Shri Amareshwar Dham will depart from its resting place Dashnami Akhara on 7th August.

Shri Amareshwar Dham is called the holy cave of Shri Amarnath. It is situated at an altitude of about 3888 meters above sea level.

The Dashnami Akhara temple is located on the outskirts of Maisuma in Srinagar and its Mahant Dipendra Giri is the custodian of Mubarak, the holy stick of Shri Amarnath.

Mahant Dipendra Giri told that Ashadh Purnima is on 13th July. It is also called Vyasa Purnima. According to the tradition that has been going on since time immemorial.

On the day of Ashadh Purnima, the rituals of Bhumi Pujan, Navagraha Poojan, and flag hoisting are done for the pilgrimage to Shri Amareshwar Dham on the banks of the Lidder river.

This is the law of pilgrimage.

He told that if one has to attain the virtue of pilgrimage to Shri Amareshwar Dham and if one wants to participate in this pilgrimage according to religion.

Then the devotees should travel to the holy cave via Pahalgam. The route from Pahalgam to the holy cave has many pilgrimage centers at various places, which are closely linked to this journey.

Mahant Dipendra Giri told us that on Wednesday, July 13, after completing all the religious rituals on the banks of Liddar, all of us will return to Dashnami Akhara.

After this, on July 28, we will perform Jalabhishek of Lord Shankar and holy Chadi Mubarak in the Shankaracharya temple located on the Gopadri mountain.

On 29th July will go to Maa Sharika Bhavani temple to worship Chadi Mubarak.

The establishment of the holy Chadi Mubarak in the Shri Amareshwar temple located in the Dashnami Akhara will be held on Sunday, July 31.

After this, on the day of Nag Panchami, on August 2, Chadi worship will be done in the Dashnami arena and after that on August 7, Chadi Mubarak will leave for the holy cave.

After resting at Pahalgam on 7th and 8th August, Chadi Mubarak will reach Chandanbadi on 9th August.

After worshiping at Panchtarni in Sheshnag on August 10 and August 11, chadi will enter the holy cave on the morning of Raksha Bandhan on 12 August.

With this, there will be the main darshan of Lord Shiva in the form of Icelingam. Chadi Mubarak will return to Pahalgam on the same day.

Referring to his meeting with Lt Governor Manoj Sinha in the past, he said that we have fully apprised him of the schedule of Chhadi Mubarak’s visit.

We have requested to make all necessary arrangements for the safety of Chadi Mubarak and Saint Mahatmas.

He said that on this occasion, I urge the devotees coming from the country and abroad to participate in the pilgrimage to Shri Amareshwar Dham, to maintain cleanliness on the Yatra route.

Before starting the journey, register yourself and travel on the prescribed route.
