The holy Chaitra Navratri has started today from Saturday. Devotees have gathered in the city of Mata Vaishno Devi.
Taking a lesson from the accident due to the huge crowd on New Year, this time the SMVDSB and the police administration have made special arrangements to control the crowd from Katra to Bhawan.
No devotee will be allowed without a travel slip. Crowds will not be allowed to gather in the building. Barricading has been done everywhere.
A large number of police and CRPF personnel have been deployed.
Board officials will also keep an eye on it. At the same time, till Friday night, 35 thousand devotees had left for the building.
As soon as the cases of corona infection decreased, devotees have started arriving in large numbers. A grand decoration has been done on the building for Navratri.
Mother’s cheers are being heard everywhere. Till Friday night, 30 thousand devotees had left from Katra towards the building. There is a continuous fair of devotees at the entrance gate, Darshani Deodhi.
Along with the police, the security forces are fully alert. On the first day of the new year, about 14 devotees had to lose their lives due to the chaos caused by the overcrowding of the building.
On this, the Shrine Board has made special arrangements by barricading the building so that crowds do not gather anywhere.
Chaitra Navratri 2022: 15 lakh 78 thousand devotees reached the court in three months:
Due to two consecutive years of the corona epidemic, there was a huge reduction in travel. In the first three months of the ongoing year, a total of 15,78264 devotees have reached the court of the mother.
At present, about 25 to 35000 devotees are reaching out daily for darshan. In January 438521, in February 361074, and in the month of March 778669 devotees have appeared at the feet of the mother.
On the holy Chaitra Navratri, about 2.5 to three lakh devotees are expected to reach the court of the mother.
Most of the advance booking in Katra is almost complete. The travel slip is being checked at the entrance gate.
The devotees are being instructed to strictly follow the guidelines issued by them in which the mask should be kept with them and the report of the Covid vaccine should also be kept with them.
Announcements are being made continuously to wear a mask and also take care of special physical distance.
Huge Shat Chandi Maha Yagya started on the building: On Navratri, for the peace of the world and the country, the Shrine Board constantly conducts Shatchandi Mahayagya on the building.
This time also a huge Shatchandi Mahayagya was organized on Chaitra Navratri.
Under the supervision of Padmashree Professor Vishwamurti Shastri, 51 Prakand Pandits will perform Havan Yagya and worship in the holy Navratri.
Inauguration of the Yagya, along with Ramesh Kumar, CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, SDM Bhawan, and other officers duly performed prayers and performed Havan, and inaugurated Chandi Maha Yagya.
Famous singers of the country will praise the mother at the building:
In Chaitra Navratri, the famous singer of the country will sing the praises of Maa Vaishno Devi in the divine aarti to be held at Vaishno Devi Bhavan in the morning and evening.
In the Divya Aarti to be held on Saturday morning on the first Navratri, the famous singer Lakhkshvadar Wadali of Punjab will worship Maa Vaishno Devi.
While on Saturday evening, the whole atmosphere will be devotional with the hymns of singer Anuradha Podwal.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the holy Chaitra Navratri, from Maa Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Base Camp Katra. Police and CRPF teams have been deployed in Katra.
Along with the police, on all the roads from the building to the security forces, patrolling continues continuously. Every visitor is being closely monitored.
