Chandrashekhar Guruji Murder: Murder of architect Chandrashekhar ‘Guruji’ in Karnataka, several stabbings in the hotel lobby, incident caught in CCTV.
Chandrashekhar Angadi alias Chandrashekhar Guruji, popularly known as ‘Saral Vastu’, was stabbed to death in a hotel in Hubli, Karnataka on Tuesday.
CCTV footage showed two men repeatedly stabbing them in the reception area of the hotel. The police have started an intensive search operation to find the killers.
On getting information about the incident, Hubli Police Commissioner Labhu Ram reached the spot.
Police have feared that Chandrashekhar Guruji had come to Hubli’s President Hotel to meet someone in connection with the business.
The entire incident of murder was captured on the CCTV camera installed there. Based on the footage, the police have started searching for the killers.
Family sources said that Guruji, a resident of Bagalkot, started his career as a contractor and later got a job in Mumbai, where he settled down.
He said that later he did the architectural business there. Three days ago, a child of his family had died in Hubli, for which he had come here to attend a condolence meeting.
Hubli Police Commissioner Labhu Ram said that some people called Guruji to the lobby area of the hotel where he was staying.
During this, one of them greeted him and then suddenly stabbed him. Guru Ji was badly injured by several knife strikes. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, by which time he was already dead.
His body has been shifted to KIMS Hospital. Police have started searching for the accused after registering a case.
Expressing grief over the killing of Guruji, Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai said that the murder of Chandrashekhar Guruji is a heinous crime.
This incident happened in broad daylight. I have spoken to Police Commissioner Labhuram to nab the culprits. The police are already probing the matter expeditiously on this.
Contracting was started after engineering.
Chandrashekhar Guruji, famous throughout the country by the name of ‘Saral Vastu’, tried to join the army at the age of 14.
Although he did not get selected for the army, he kept aiming for better education. After graduating in Civil Engineering from Bagalkot, he started his career as a contractor in Mumbai.
