Chargesheet Filed Against Two Including Sunil Rathi

Chargesheet filed against two including Sunil Rathi in Ajit Singh murder case, Rathi is in jail.

In the famous Ajit Singh murder case, the police have filed a chargesheet against two people including the mafia of western UP, Sunil Rathi. Sunil Rathi is accused of shooting the jailed Munna Bajrangi.

Apart from Sunil, a charge sheet has also been filed against Pradeep Kumar Singh. Taking cognizance of the charge sheet, CJM Ravi Kumar Gupta has ordered to summon the accused on February 16.

Earlier on April 7, 2021, a charge sheet was filed against the accused Kuntu Singh alias Dhruv, Akhand, Sandeep alias Baba, Mustafa alias Bunty, Shivendra Singh alias Ankur, Bandhan Singh, Prince, and Rehan.

The police of Vibhutikhand police station had filed a charge sheet against the accused under sections of attempt to murder, murder with similar intent, conspiracy, concealment of evidence, etc.

During the discussion, the name of former MP Dhananjay Singh also came to light in this case.

Dhananjay surrendered in a second case in the special court of MP-MLA, Prayagraj, after his name cropped up on March 5, 2021.

The special court sent him to judicial custody. Despite this, the capital police had not obtained his warrant B in this case. After this Dhananjay came out on bail in that case as well.

However, the investigation is still ongoing. The investigation of the case has been handed over to the STF.

It is noteworthy that on January 6, 2021, Ajit Singh was shot dead at Kathota crossroads, whose FIR was lodged by Mohar Singh in Vibhutikhand police station.

The first was hit by a car, then attacked with a hammer and killed.

The uncle-nephew going by bike was first hit by a luxury car, after which the attackers who got out of the car hit them with a hammer, in which the uncle was killed, while the nephew was injured.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital. Two people who were fleeing after committing the crime were caught by the villagers and handed over to the police.

A large number of people gathered in the village after the incident. Villagers got angry after calling the incident an accident.

The resentment of the villagers increased till the dispute. SSP Shailesh Pandey went to the spot and explained to the people and pacified them.

Those arrested include Riku Verma, a resident of Maushiwala, and Dinesh Yadav, a resident of Tasgade village in Purakalandar.

The accused told that another of his accomplice Anshu Yadav escaped from the spot. Riku Verma is a Driver. He says that Anshu Yadav had taken his luxury vehicle for rent.

Dinesh Yadav told that there is a land dispute going on between Suryaprakash Dubey and Anshu’s father Ram Sudhar. At his behest, a conspiracy to murder was hatched.
