Jammu and Kashmir terrorist arrested in Lucknow, caught by UP ATS; Court sent to jail.
The accused Tauheed Ahmed Shah, arrested in the case of terrorist activities, has been arrested by the ATS. Tauheed is a resident of Bargain in Jammu and Kashmir.
ATS/NIA special court has sent Tauheed to judicial custody for 14 days. Tauheed is an active member of the Al Qaeda module (Ansar Ghazwajtul Hind). It was produced in the special court on Monday.
It was also involved in a failed plan to carry out terrorist incidents in sensitive places of Uttar Pradesh before August 15, 2021. In lieu of this, accused Minhaj deposited money in his account.
Five accused, including Minhaj, have already been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
On July 11, 2021, the FIR of this case has been registered in the police station ATS under Section 121A, 122, 123 of the IPC and Section 13, 18, 18B, 20, 39 of the Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act.

Gunpowder with pressure cooker bomb, self-made detonator, a 32-bore pistol, four live cartridges, potassium permanganate, and mobile, etc. was recovered from them.
At the same time, on July 15, accused Shakeel, Mohd. Mueed and Mustakim were sent to jail in judicial custody.
After this, the investigation of the case was handed over to the NIA. According to NIA special counsel MK Singh, a charge sheet has been filed against all of them.
On Monday, the NIA arrested the accused Tauheed Ahmed Shah and obtained his judicial remand. The investigation of NIA is still on. Minhaj was questioned by the ATS, after which Tauheed’s name surfaced.
NIA was continuously searching for Tauheed. During interrogation, Tauheed has given much important information to the NIA.
