On the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in Russia’s capital Moscow, China’s Defense Minister Jernal Wei Fenghe (Wei Fenghe) has expressed a desire to meet with India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The Chinese side expressed this wish to the Indian Mission.

In view of the ongoing tension between the armies of the two countries on the border, this development is being considered very important. However, this has not been officially confirmed. It is known that both Rajnath Singh and Wang Yi are in Moscow to attend the SCO meeting on Friday.

However, no statement has been made by the Indian Defence Ministry on the desire to meet Chinese Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Before this, sources were quoted quoting that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh would not meet his Chinese counterpart at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting.

Tension persists between India and China

The tensions between India and China have continued since the heightened tension between the intermittent night of 29-30 on the southern shore of Pangong Lake and the Chinese army’s attempt to infiltrate the night of 31 August. India is asking China to withdraw its troops from the northern areas of Pangong Lake.

Due to Chinese action, no solution was found in the first four days of talks at the Brigadier level. There has been no indication of any results from the fifth-day meeting on Thursday. In such a situation, the situation between the two countries is getting worse.

Explain that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on a three-day visit to Russia. During this, he will attend the SCO meeting today. During the Moscow visit, India and Russia have finalized a major agreement to manufacture state-of-the-art AK-203 rifles in India.

The official Russian media gave this information. The AK-203 rifle is the latest and most advanced version of the AK-47 rifle. It will replace the ‘Indian Small Arts System’ (INSAS) 5.56 times 45 mm rifle.
