The Election Commission of India has set the declaration of the election of Western Graduate constituency of the Karnataka Methodist Council and the Model Code of Conduct has been implemented immediately in the district and constituency.
District Collector Nitesh K. Patil said that there is still time for registered voters in the district to register their names and submit petitions at Tahsildar offices and urban local bodies.
He said the election notification will be published on October 1 in the District Secretariat’s office on election preparation and modeling.
