As a precautionary measure, the security of the Gorakhnath temple was also increased. Earlier, when Shivendra had threatened to blow up the Gorakhnath temple, the police had treated the accused as mentally ill and settled the matter lightly.

For the second time, the police are in a mood to take tough action on his threat. SSP Jogendra Kumar has said that strict action will be taken.

A joint team of Swat and Kubersthan Police of Kushinagar has arrested three smugglers after exposing the inter-state Ganja smuggler gang.

Smugglers were coming from Bihar with the bike and coming towards Padrauna Nagar. More than 13 kg of hemp has been found from them. The cost of the recovered hemp from the police is being reported as Rs 3.5 lakh.

ASP AP Singh told reporters on Tuesday that the joint team was on patrol in the morning. It was learned that the smugglers were going to Padrauna with the hemp.

When the team saw three people riding on two bikes near the Pachrukhia bridge in the Kubersthan area coming from Bihar, they started riding at a high speed. After that, the team took them into custody.

During the search, 13.300 kg of ganja kept in the sack on the bike was recovered. All three were identified as Vimlesh Singh resident Sukrauli police station Koti Hata Kushinagar, Harendra Sharma resident Shekha Deoghwan police station Shikarpur district West Champaran.

Jaikishun Sharma resident Naugawa police station Ramnagar district West Champaran Bihar. Two mobiles were found from the smugglers. They could not provide the bike papers on demand.
