The Ministry of Home Affairs has given in-principle consent to the suggestion of keeping these gangsters, who have become synonymous with terror in North India, in jails in North East and South India. Because there is no legal barrier to this.

Uttar Pradesh’s mafia Atiq Ahmed is also lodged in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad jail. In fact, the gangsters in the jails of their influence area contact their gang operatives outside the jail.
