Delhi Excise Scam: Manish Sisodia will spend a few more days in jail, Rouse Avenue Court rejects bail plea.

The bail plea of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the CBI case related to the Excise Policy scam has been rejected by the special CBI court at Rouse Avenue.

Special Judge MK Nagpal pronounced the decision to dismiss the petition.

The court had reserved its verdict on March 24 after hearing the arguments of the CBI and the Sisodia side.

Sisodia is currently in jail under judicial custody in a CBI corruption and ED money laundering case.

CBI protested strongly.

Sisodia had requested the court to grant him bail on grounds including his health and wife’s care.

At the same time, the investigating agency strongly opposed the petition saying that if Sisodia is granted bail, he will affect the investigation and he will continue the practice of destruction of evidence.

Sisodia has been accused of repeatedly changing officers to make reports according to his own but also destroyed mobile phones and various files.

Gujarat High Court has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Kejriwal for demanding the degree of PM Narendra Modi.

The court has also set aside the order of the Chief Information Commission (CEC), which had ordered the submission of degrees from the university and the PMO.

Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Do the people not even have the right to know how educated is their PM? He vehemently opposed being shown his degree in court. Why?

Anyone who asks to see the Educational certificates will be fined.” What is happening, is the illiterate or illiterate Prime Minister is very dangerous for the country

Explain that the Chief Information Commission (CEC) had directed the PIO of the PMO and the PIOs of Gujarat University and DU to show the graduation and post-graduation degrees of PM Modi.

Along with this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal filed a petition and demanded to show the degree.
