DGP Dilbag Singh Gave Instructions To Increase The Security

DGP Dilbag Singh gave instructions to increase the security of border areas and highways.

Director-General of Police Dilbag Singh has directed to increase security arrangements in the border areas and on the national highway.

He said that all police officers in coordination with all security agencies in their respective jurisdictions should take action against anti-national elements with a pro-active approach.

In a meeting to review the security scenario in the Jammu division, Dilbagh Singh said that there is no scope for any leniency towards the supporters of terrorists and separatists.

Strict action should be taken against anti-national elements, drug dealers. Security and vigilance of border areas and highways should be increased.

DGP Dilbag Singh gave instructions: He also stressed making the marginalized people aware during this period.

He said that the frontier people should be alerted that if they see any suspicious, they should immediately inform the police or BSF.

He said that recently there have been infiltration attempts along the LoC and till some time back drones have also been infiltrating from across the border.

Keeping all these incidents in mind, we should regularly review the security system and improve it. He said that small negligence can lead to a big accident.

Emphasizing setting up special checkpoints on the national highway, the DGP said that any person or vehicle should be investigated on the basis of suspicion.

The DGP said that all of us will have to make efforts together to make every plan of anti-national elements a failure.

All the range DIGs and SSPs including ADGP Mukesh Singh, DIG Atul Goyal, and SSP Jammu participated in the meeting.
