The displaced Kashmiri Pandit has been on a gradual hunger strike for 41 days and now he will have to tighten his struggle. Hence, a demonstration is being planned in Jammu city.

Neglect of Talwara displaced is not tolerated: Jagdev Singh

The Talwara emigrants held a meeting in the local club premises under the chairmanship of the Talwara Migrant Action Committee District President Jagdev Singh in connection with the pending demands.

During this period, slogans were also raised for the constant neglect of the government.

On this occasion, Jagdev Singh said that resentment against the government is increasing among the Talwara displaced due to a lack of timely government assistance and non-fulfillment of pending demands.

He said that many months of ration and cash assistance is due to the displaced. The condition of the quarters of the colony displaced from above has become very dilapidated.
