Police Alert On Deepawali In Uttar Pradesh, Ayodhya Venerable

Police alert on Deepawali in Uttar Pradesh, RAF security cordon will be in Ayodhya and Varanasi. After the assembly by-election in Uttar Pradesh, the police are alert and now eyeing the security of Deepawali.

Intelligence along with the police has also been activated due to the possibility of something wrong on the occasion of the festival.

Instructions have been given to make additional arrangements for security, especially in Ramnagar Ayodhya and Prime Minister’s Parliamentary constituency Varanasi.

Apart from Ayodhya, ATS will also be ready with RAF in Varanasi, Meerut, and Lucknow.

Strict security arrangements are being made in Ayodhya in view of Deepotsav. In addition to two company RAF, traffic police and SDRF companies are being sent to Ayodhya.

Eight ASPs and COs will also be sent from the DGP headquarters level to handle security arrangements in Ayodhya.

In Ayodhya, an action plan has been prepared for the checks. The process of deploying additional police forces from the zone level has also started here.

Major religious places of the province have always been the target of terrorists. Many alerts have also been issued in the past.

Recently, after the Hathras incident, a conspiracy to incite ethnic and communal violence came out in the state, after which the police are also taking full precautions on every big occasion.

Instructions have been given to keep a close watch on mischievous elements.

In view of the challenge of security arrangements on the occasion of Deepawali, in addition to Ayodhya, one company RAF will be stationed in Meerut, Varanasi, and Lucknow.

Besides, 29 companies additional PACs are also being sent to Meerut, Aligarh, Bareilly, Saharanpur, Hathras, Agra, and other sensitive districts.

DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has given instructions to make foot patrolling in the markets on the occasion of Dhanteras along with tight security arrangements.

He has also asked to set up PACs in the markets and to constantly check suspects. IG Law and Order Jyoti Narayan said that five companies have got Central Security Force to protect Deepawali.

Apart from this, additional PACs are also being installed in all sensitive districts. Instructions have also been given to closely monitor the Internet media
