ED raids on former PDP MLA’s houses, 28 lakh seized: Jammu Kashmir.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids the houses of former PDP MLA Anjum Fazli in Srinagar and Delhi. Seized more than 28 lakh cash from there.

Anjum, close to former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, is accused of cheating Jammu and Kashmir Bank in the money laundering case.

Officers seized Rs 21,38200 from Fazli’s house in Srinagar and Rs 6,62500 from Delhi. The ED has also seized an FDR of Rs 6729490 from Fazli’s Srinagar residence.

Fazli’s role is being investigated under various provisions of the Money Lodging Act. Earlier, the ED had raided many Kashmiri leaders and industrialists.

At the same time, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti said that our leaders are implicated by making false allegations of corruption. Raiding the houses of Anjum Fazli is condemnable.

Jammu Kashmir DDC Results: Formation of District Development Councils after Election

To stop the BJP in Kashmir, the National Conference and the PDP formed a People’s Alliance by joining small parties, but it was not easy to take the grassroots workers along.

The same challenge was also for the selection of candidates for the coalition and looks forward to the formation of District Development Councils.

This is the reason that in a dozen seats, the candidates of the coalition came face to face, and some beat the independents.

The alliance with the Congress did not clear anything till the last time and as a result, the Congress and the Alliance stood in opposition to each other in dozens of seats.

Now after the election results, it is clear that the Guptkar coalition will be successful in capturing the District Development Councils in 10 districts of Kashmir, but the real challenge will start from here.

It is not easy for the activists of the major parties National Conference and PDP to face each other’s dominance. BJP is also airing this issue. They say that this alliance was done only to stop the nationalist forces.

From the selection of candidates to the results, the National Conference maintained its dominance in the agreement.

Forgetting the old rivalry against the BJP, even though the leadership of these parties have compromised, the leaders and workers on the ground are not completely united.
