Five encounters in 5 days, 8 terrorists killed in Kashmir: The new year came as a tough time for terrorists in Kashmir. The year 2022 has started with encounters in Kashmir.

So far, five encounters have taken place in these five days of the new year in which 8 terrorists, including a top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, have been killed.

These operations of the security forces are executed to establish peace and tranquility in Kashmir in the new year.

Security forces have made it clear to the terrorist organizations that they will no longer allow any more bloodshed in Kashmir.

However, after the abolition of Article 370 and the formation of a Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the situation in Kashmir has also improved a lot.

In these five days, the way the security forces are seen tightening the noose on the terrorists it can be said that very soon, peace and tranquility will be established in Kashmir.

Kashmir is called heaven on earth and the people living here will once again live in mutual brotherhood. 

Of the five encounters that took place in five days, district Srinagar saw two encounters in a span of just one hour.

While one in north Kashmir’s district Kupwara, one in south Kashmir’s district Kulgam district, and one in district Pulwama on Wednesday.

Ignoring light rain and severe cold in the encounter that took place in Pulwama today, security forces launched an operation against the terrorists.

Earlier on January 01, soldiers killed a Pakistani terrorist in Keran sector of district Kupwara. This terrorist was trying to infiltrate into Indian territory crossing the border with Pakistan.

After his death, when he was searched, it was found that he is a Pakistani national, Mohammad Shabbir Malik. Pakistani currency and weapons were also recovered from him.

On 03 January, security forces killed Salim Parre alias Billa, District Commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a resident of Hajin Bandipora, in the Srinagar Shalimar encounter.

He was active from the year 2016. After the killing of Billa, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar announced that now Hajin village of Bandipora is now terrorism-free.

Five encounters in 5 days: There is no local terrorist active there now.

The security forces had just killed the top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Mohammad Salim Parre that just an hour.

Later another encounter took place in the Gusu area of ​​Shalimar in which the security forces killed a Pakistani terrorist Hafiz alias Hamza. He was also wanted in the killings of several civilians.

On 04 January, two terrorists named Amir Ahmed Wani of Alamganj Shopian and Sameer Ahmed Khan of Tiken Pulwama were killed in the OK area of ​​Kulgam.

Both of them were associated with The Resistance Front belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba.

According to the data received, even in the year 2021, the operation of the security forces against terrorists was very successful.

During this, security forces killed 182 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, 168 terrorists were killed in the Kashmir division.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar had also informed in a press conference recently that for the first time in 30 years, the number of terrorists operating in Kashmir has come down to less than 200.

Of the active terrorists, 83 are foreigners while the same number are local.
