Five More Companies Of CRPF Will Be Deployed In The Valley

Five more companies of CRPF will send to the valley, will be deployed in areas adjoining Srinagar.

Five additional companies of CRPF will be deployed in Srinagar and its adjoining areas in the next few days to curb the increasing terrorist activities and give the edge to counter-terrorist operations.

These companies are being sent from Delhi and other states of the country.

It is noteworthy that during the last one-and-a-half months there has been an increase in terrorist violence.

From October 1 till now, nine people have been targeted in the valley, especially in Srinagar. Of these, five are non-Muslims and one policeman.

Apart from this, there have been about seven incidents of grenade and petrol bomb attacks in Srinagar. Two murders took place on Sunday and Monday.

The rapid rise in terrorist activities has once again created a sense of insecurity and fear among the people in the plaintiffs.

To strengthen the security system, the Union Home Ministry has sent 50 companies of various central paramilitary forces, including CRPF, BSF, and SSB, to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Of these, 20 have been deployed in Jammu province and 30 in Kashmir province.

Meanwhile, in view of the civilian killings that started once again in the Valley from Sunday.

Five additional companies of CRPF are being deployed in Srinagar to strengthen the security apparatus and to step up the counter-insurgency operations.

These companies are being removed from other states of the country and sent to the valley.

Security in the Valley further increased: Security has been tightened in the Valley, especially in the summer capital, after two civilians were killed by a terrorist.

Along with increasing the deployment of security forces in all sensitive areas, temporary check posts and checkpoints have been set up on all major routes of entry.

A surprise siege is being conducted to nab the terrorists and their aides hiding in different areas. Militants shot dead a policeman, Tauseef Wani, outside his house in Batamaloo on Sunday.

On Monday night, 24 hours after Tauseef was killed, terrorists killed a civilian named Mohammad Ibrahim Wani in Bohrikadal.

He used to work as a salesman in the shop of Kashmiri Pandit Dr. Sandeep Mawa.

Fear has started to arise in the people too:

After the civilian killings in the plaintiff last month, these two murders have created fear among the people amid the increased security arrangements as per the guidelines of Home Minister Amit Shah.

After the civilian killings, especially in the plaintiffs. Security arrangements in Srinagar have also come under question.

To catch the terrorists and thwart their plans, the security arrangements have been reviewed and made afresh.

Concerned officials said that joint patrolling of CRPF and police personnel has been increased in different parts of Srinagar.

In addition to all major entry and exit points into the city, temporary reading posts and checkpoints have also been set up along the roads connecting Srinagar to other major towns and cities of the Valley
