Gangwar in Bathinda: Half a dozen youths in-car shot and killed a young man Hasandeep Singh, and his friend’s arms and legs were broken.

On Thursday evening, half a dozen unknown youths in a car surrounded two youths and attacked them fatally on Ajit Road in the city.

By firing, they killed one youth while breaking both arms and legs of the other youth. In the relentless firing, a bullet hit the leg of a young man passing by, he too got injured.

All three youths were admitted to the Civil Hospital for treatment in a bloody condition, where 29-year-old Hasandeep Singh’s son Jaskaran Singh resident of village Mahima Bhagwan was declared dead.

The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby.

Seriously injured Buta Singh’s son Ranjit Singh resident of village Jandwala has been referred to a private hospital. The third injured has been identified as Jaskaran Singh resident of village Pakka Kalan.

After this gang war which took place in broad daylight, panic spread in the entire area.

At the same time, as soon as the information of the incident was received, the team of Police Station Civil Line, CIA Staff One and Two including SP H Surinderpal Singh reached the spot.

The investigation of the matter has been started. The reason for the gang war is not clear. The police are suspecting that the said incident was carried out due to mutual enmity between the youths.

In the CCTV footage, Buta Singh was attacking the car rider.

Police have started efforts to arrest the attackers by taking footage of CCTV cameras. The police have started the next investigation by registering a case of murder.

Around 7 people came in a car in the street number 6 of Ajit Road at 4 pm on Thursday. He kept doing recce here for a long time.

The target of those people was the youth living in a house built in the street.

When Buta Singh and Harmandeep Singh came out of this house, the car riders suddenly came out and started attacking Buta Singh with sticks and iron rods.

They broke his arms and legs. Harmandeep proceeded to protest, they started firing bullets at him.

Harmandeep was seriously injured due to a bullet injury in the chest and died on the way to the hospital. During this time Jaskaran Singh was passing from there.

The bullets of the gangsters hit him in the leg. He got injured and fell on the road. Thereafter the attackers fled from the spot.

After being attacked with bullets, sticks, and rods, the horrified shopkeepers closed the shops in panic. People started running from there to save their lives.

After this, the people around informed the police about the incident.

In collaboration with the Naujawan Welfare Society, the injured Buta Singh and Jaskaran Singh were taken to the Civil Hospital for treatment.

At present, the police are involved in the investigation by linking this incident with gang war and mutual enmity.

At the same time, the police have been alerted in all the nakas of the city and orders have been given to check the vehicles.
