Government should clarify the situation regarding Baba Amarnath Yatra, one month’s time left for the yatra.
Shri Amarnath Barfani Langar Organization has urged Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha to clarify the situation regarding this year’s Baba Amarnath Yatra.
It has been decided to begin the journey of Baba Amarnath from 28th June. There is only one month left for the journey to begin. In such a situation, it is necessary to clarify the situation.
Organization chief Vijay Thakur and general secretary Rajan Gupta said that no institution has yet received permission letters from the board for anchoring, while the board used to send permission letters in the past till April.
Apart from this, the process of registration of temporarily stopped passengers has neither been resumed nor any announcement has been made in this regard.
About a month is left for the journey to begin. If the board sends permission to the anchors related to the journey on time, then they will be able to appoint all their servants and get their police verification.
After that, the board will produce the identity cards of those servants whose board has mandated this will be possible only if the board permits time.
Government should clarify: NGOs are required to arrive at the base camps 10 days before the start of the yatra.
A lot of work has to be done such as arranging servants to set up sheds, electricians, genset mechanics, confectioners, serving workers etc. for setting up stores.
Purchasing various items like powdered milk, wheat flour, grains and pulses, rice, refined oil Mustard oil, diesel etc. all these systems take a lot of time.
He said that the Lieutenant Governor or the Chief Executive Officer of the board should clarify the situation regarding the journey whether there would be a trip between the corona or not. Last year, the trip could not take place due to Corona.
About 115 institutions from different states across the country arrange the langar. More than one hundred anchors are anchored under the banner of the Anchor Organization.
