Hardik Pandya Will Be The Captain Of Ahmedabad IPL Franchise

Hardik Pandya will be the captain of the Ahmedabad IPL franchise, Rashid Khan and Shubman will also be in the team.

The Ahmedabad and Lucknow franchises, the two new IPL teams, have officially selected the draft picks for the upcoming 2022 season with the big auction.

While Lucknow picked Lokesh Rahul (Rs 17 crore), Marcus Stoinis (9.2 crores), and Ravi Bishnoi (4 crores), Ahmedabad picked Hardik Pandya (15 crores), Rashid Khan (15 crores), and Shubman Gill (8 crores) has been added to the team.

It was being discussed for a long time that Hardik, who is suffering from poor form and injury, would be made the captain of the team.

Putting an end to all the speculations on Friday, Ahmedabad announced to make this all-rounder its captain.

While Hardik will take over the command of Ahmedabad, Vikram Solanki will be the director of cricket of the team.

Gary Kirsten will be the batting coach and mentor and Ashish Nehra has been named the head coach.

IPL’s Lucknow franchise named KL Rahul as the captain.

For the new season of the Indian Premier League, Lucknow has announced the names of all three of its players out of the two teams attached to the tournament.

KL Rahul, who is currently captaining the Indian team in the ODI series in South Africa, has been made the captain of the team.

Apart from this, Australian all-rounder and Indian young spinner have also been included in the team.
