Two TRF terrorists were killed in the Shopian encounter, firing continues between security forces and terrorists.
Irrespective of the snowfall and rain, the security forces are continuing their operation against the terrorists in the Kashmir Valley.
Soon after the information about the hiding of terrorists in the Zapora Kilbal area of South Kashmir’s District Shopian was received.
SOG personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police along with a joint team of Army and CRPF reached the village and started searching for the terrorists.
As soon as the team of security forces reached near the house where the terrorists were hiding, they started firing on the soldiers.
Two TRF terrorists were killed: According to preliminary information, so far the security forces have succeeded in neutralizing two TRF terrorists.
Police said that two to three terrorists have been reported to be sighted in the area. At present, the process of firing is going on from both sides.
Although the security forces also asked the terrorists to surrender before retaliating, when they did not agree, they also started firing in retaliation.
At present, the encounter between security forces and terrorists is going on in Kilbal village. After killing two terrorists, other terrorists have been surrounded. Other details are awaited.
The campaign will run against hybrid terrorists and their handlers, if given shelter, big action will be taken.
Strict action will be taken against OGW by registering a case of involvement in terrorist activities.

This is a part of the strategy that was decided in a meeting of the Corps Security Group held jointly chaired by Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen DP Pandey and Director General of Police Dilbag Singh on Friday.
