Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla held a review meeting: J&K. In Jammu and Kashmir, now the public is giving information against terrorists.

During a high-level meeting with Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, senior police officers of Jammu and Kashmir claimed to have better intelligence against terrorists.

Senior officials of the MHA, IB, and chiefs of paramilitary forces, as well as Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh and other officials, were also present in the meeting.

According to highly placed sources, the Home Secretary had called a meeting to review the situation in view of the increasing targeted attacks by terrorists on police force personnel and civilians in Jammu and Kashmir.

In the meeting, a detailed presentation was given about the recent terrorist attacks from the Jammu and Kashmir side.

On the basis of its precise intelligence, information was also given about the killing of many high-profile terrorists.

He said that the general public is now giving information about terrorist activities by going ahead and human intelligence has improved due to this.

He told that in the past, security agencies have succeeded in foiling many conspiracies of major terrorist attacks in Kashmir.

The human intelligence network needs to be improved further.

The Home Secretary stressed the need to further improve the Human Intelligence Network.

The Home Secretary said that getting good human intelligence about terrorists is a sign of the situation getting better and security agencies should take advantage of it.

Referring to the incident of killing of three Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel in a terrorist attack on the bus.

The Home Secretary urged the use of bulletproof vehicles for the movement of state police personnel and to make arrangements for an adequate number of such vehicles as per the requirement.

NIA is probing several cases of terror funding in Jammu and Kashmir.

In the meeting, emphasis was laid on strengthening the newly formed SIA (State Investigation Agency) to investigate the terror attack and to investigate every case in a professional manner on the lines of NIA.

The Home Secretary said that the NIA is probing several cases of terror funding in Jammu and Kashmir. But it is not possible for him to investigate every terror attack. SIA was formed for this purpose.
