Indian Air Force(IAF) Chief RKS Bhadauria flew in an F-15 fighter jet in Israel on Thursday. He also held extensive talks with his Israeli counterpart Major General Amikam Norkin to further boost bilateral military cooperation.
This information was provided by officers. Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria arrived in Israel on Tuesday on a three-day visit from the United Arab Emirates.
The Indian Air Force on Friday described the visit of Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria to Israel as an important milestone in the cooperation between the air forces of the two countries.
The IAF said the two sides reaffirmed the shared vision of bilateral engagement and multidisciplinary professional exchanges for the future.
It said the Air Force chief flew in an F-15 fighter aircraft with the Israeli Air Force commander.
Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria along with Major General Naikon also visited Yad Vashem and paid tribute at the memorial of Jews who were tortured during World War II.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Friday described Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria’s visit to Israel as an “important milestone” in cooperation between the air forces of the two countries.
The IAF said, “The visit of the Chief of Air Staff to Israel is an important milestone in the relations between the Indian Air Force and the Israeli Air Force, reaffirming the shared vision of bilateral engagement and multidisciplinary professional exchanges for the future.”
It said the Air Force chief flew in an F-15 fighter aircraft with the Israeli Air Force commander.
“The Air Chief had very fruitful meetings with the Director-General of Defense (Ministry of Defence) and the Chief of General Staff on matters of mutual interest and bilateral defense cooperation,” the IAF said in a statement.
Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria met Major General Norkin. Along with, also visited “Yad Vashem” and paid tribute at the memorial.
