IAF LC Helicopter: ‘Made in India’ helicopters will be included in the Indian Air Force fleet today, know their specialties.

IAF LC Helicopter: Of the helicopters, 10 are for the Indian Air Force and five for the Army.

According to official sources, it can land and take off from a height of 5,000 meters with weapons and fuel.

Helicopters are planned to be used extensively in Ladakh and the desert region to meet the requirements of the Armed Forces.

The Indian Air Force has inducted several helicopters in the last 3-4 years with the induction of Chinook, Apache attack helicopter, and now LCH.

The Indian Air Force is now also deploying women pilots in Chinook helicopters, which are carrying out routine supply missions on the northern and eastern borders.

What is their specialty?

These helicopters are equipped with speed, extended range, high altitude performance, Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), and all-weather combat capability to perform the role of Destroyer of Enemy Air Defense (DEAD).

It is also used for counter-insurgency (CI) operations, slow maneuvering aircraft and remotely piloted aircraft (RPAs), high altitude bunker busting operations, counter-insurgency operations in the jungle and urban environments, and support and operational requirements to ground forces.
