Important Installations Will Be Equipped With Anti-Drone Systems

Important installations of Jammu and Kashmir will be equipped with anti-drone systems in two months, enemies will be closely monitored.

After the drone attack on the Jammu airbase, important installations of the state were fitted with Sur-drone systems by drone strikes.

At the same time, it has been decided to secure all other important installations with an anti-drone system within two months.

According to a senior official of the security agency associated with the matter, the anti-drone system has been installed at the Jammu airbase with the help of the National Security Guard (NSG).

The system is believed to have been acquired by NSG from Israel and tested by the National Technical Research Organization (NTRO).

After reviewing the security situation after the drone attack and the preparedness to deal with the threat arising out of the new strategy of terrorist organizations.

It was decided to equip all the important installations of Jammu and Kashmir with anti-drone systems within two months. The agencies have been given strict instructions to complete it on time.

According to a senior official, it has been decided to install anti-drone systems at important installations as well as at some sensitive places along the border with Pakistan.

According to him, after patrolling the border and destroying tunnels, the work of supplying arms and money to the terrorists is being done with the help of drones.

In the last two years, many cases of drone-dropping weapons have been caught.

He said that the study of the pattern of supply of weapons from drones has made it clear that there are certain areas on the border where weapons are being dropped by drones.

Anti-drone systems will now be installed in these areas so that every drone coming from across the border can be identified and destroyed.

 The remote control of the drone turned out to be a bundle of newspapers.

Officials investigating the drones, which were spotted near the military camps in Kaluchak and Ratnuchak on the outskirts of the city in the early hours of Monday.

Officers mistook an object seen in the CCTV camera as remote control of the drone, but it turned out to be a bundle of newspapers.

Similarly, two suspects seen on CCTV believed to be terrorists, turned out to be distributors of a newspaper.

Officials probing the case said the drone was sighted over the Kaluchak military camp on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.

Army personnel also fired about two dozen bullets to destroy it. The military administration investigated the matter and during this, it was found that a car was also seen on the road passing outside the camp.

The car was also slow and was seen at the same time as the drone was hovering over the camp. The entire footage of the car has been recorded on CCTV.

It was seen in the footage that a person in the car handed over a bundle to a person who came on a motorcycle.

This bundle was understood by the concerned authorities that it is definitely a remote control operating the drone. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV at around 2:30 pm on Monday.
