India China Talks: 8th round of talks between India and China to be held soon, to reduce tension.
Government sources said on Monday that China has confirmed the 8th Corps Commander-level talks with India. Now the two sides will finalize its dates for mutual convenience.
The two sides have already held seven rounds of talks over the border dispute in eastern Ladakh, in which no decision has been reached.
Government sources said, “China has confirmed that they will hold 8th round of talks with India, dates for which will be finalized soon.”
The seventh round of talks was held on October 12 in which both sides discussed several steps to reduce military tensions in East Ladakh. During this time the two countries insisted on maintaining dialogue through military and diplomatic channels.
During the recent two plus two talks with the US, the two countries also discussed Chinese incursions into East Ladakh.
On behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, it was said that the negotiations with China have no relation to any external issue.
In order to reduce tension on the border, both sides agree to find a solution at the earliest through dialogue through military and diplomatic channels.
There has been a military standoff for the last six months over the border dispute between India and China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). In eastern Ladakh, tensions between the two countries remain.
China has been steadily increasing military strength on the LAC. In response to this, India has also increased its deployment.
Please tell that on June 15, there was a violent clash between the soldiers of India and China. In this, 20 soldiers of India gave the supreme sacrifice. During this time 45 Chinese soldiers were killed, but Chi has not yet accepted it.
Indian Coast Guard ship C-452 will be launched today
The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) ship C-452 will be launched on Tuesday in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. It will be launched at the hands of Rajan Bargotra, Additional Director General of Western Seaboard through video conferencing.
This ship has been designed in the country. It has been built and designed by Larsen & Toubro of Surat under the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
