Let us tell you that there is no elected government in the state since 2018. There is currently President’s rule here. The DDC elections were held here in the current year.

A major reason for postponing the assembly elections here is also the delimitation being done here. Let us tell you that after the separation of Ladakh from Jammu and Kashmir, its need was felt.

At present both are union territories. A meeting of the delimitation group was also held on Wednesday itself. 20 Deputy Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir participated in this meeting.

Let us tell you that after the change in the constitutional status of Jammu and Kashmir, the assembly seats have also increased here.

In the coming elections, elections will be completed in about 90 seats here.
