Indian Army Will Get 10 Lakh New Multimode Hand Grenades

Indian army will get 10 lakh new multimode hand grenades, know against whom it will be used. The Ministry of Defence today signed a contract with Economic Explosives Limited (EEL), (Solar Group) Nagpur to supply 10 lakh multi-mode hand grenades to the Indian Army.

The deal is worth around Rs 409 crore. These hand grenades will be used to kill and deliver a shock. The grenade will be the new one million hand grenades multimode hand grenade. They can be used both simply to shock and as deadly weapons.

People will be used to surprise a non-violent blast

The hand grenade will have a cover with which the hand grenade will be fatal. That is, it can be used for the elimination of the enemy. Without cover, this hand grenade would be nonlethal, ie not fatal.

It can be used in situations where soldiers have to enter a suspicious place and the people present there are simply shocked by a non-violent blast.

Every rifleman in the army carries two grenades with him. There are a lot of complaints about the grenades being used so far. However, existing grenades can be used as both hand grenades and rifle grenades.

But the new 10 million grenades that are being received are multi-mode but they will be able to be used as hand grenades. The Indian Army also needs rifle grenades and the search for new rifle grenades is still in progress.

7796 crore secure communication network: government institutions

ITI has tied up with the Ministry of Defense for Rs 7796 crore. Under this, ITI has to create a strategic and secure communication network for the military across the country.

The Security Cabinet Committee has approved for this sensitive network. The Army Static Switched Communication Network (ASCON) Phase-4 is seen as preparations against China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The ITI issued a statement saying that the telecommunication network will contribute significantly to strengthen the Indian Army. It will be the safest communication system for the military in the entire country for the next ten years.

In 2017, the telecom and defense equipment manufacturer bid lowest for Army Static Switched Communication Network (ASCON) Phase-4.
