Indian Navy ships depart to bring oxygen from abroad amid Corona crisis.

In this hour of Corona crisis in the country, the Indian Navy has once again come to the rescue of the countrymen. The Navy has launched a special mission to bring oxygen-filled cryogenic containers from abroad.

At present, there is a huge shortage of oxygen in the country due to the huge increase in cases of corona infection. Officials said Indian Navy warships were initially carrying oxygen from Bahrain, Singapore and Thailand.

Two Indian Navy ships have reached Manama port in Bahrain

Navy said that two ships INS Kolkata and INS Talwar have reached the Manama port in Bahrain. They will bring 40 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen to Mumbai.

Another vessel INS Jalashv has left for Bangkok while INS Airavat is going to Singapore under this mission.

Commander Vivek Madhawal, spokesperson of the Indian Navy, said that the Navy has launched the Samudra Setu II campaign to bring oxygen.

Last year, the Navy undertook a sea bridge operation under the Vande Bharat Bharat campaign to bring people stranded abroad due to the lockdown.

Navy built three Covid hospitals for the use of civilians.

Three hospitals have been built by the Indian Navy for the use of civilians. Giving this information, the Defense Minister’s Office said that three Naval Hospitals have been built under the Western Naval Command.

This includes INSS Jeevanwati Goa, INHS Patanjali Karwar and INSS Sandhani Hospital in Mumbai. Significantly, the Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had instructed the three army organs to use army hospitals for civilian use.

It is the largest freighter aircraft of the US Air Force. While the second aircraft carrying material was the C-17 Globemaster.

The two aircraft carry 423 oxygen regulator cylinders, 210 pulse oximeters, 17 large size oxygen cylinders, 8,84,000 Abbott Rapid diagnostic kits and 84 thousand N-95 face masks.
