Indian Under-19 team has registered its third consecutive win: U19 World Cup 2022. India reach the quarter-finals with a thumping 326-run win, 6 batsmen sent back to zero.

The Indian Under-19 team has registered its third consecutive win in the Under-19 World Cup being played on Caribbean soil.

India reached the quarter-finals with a massive 326-run win against Uganda in the last league match. Batting first, the Indian team scored 405 for 5 on the basis of Raj’s unbeaten innings of 162 runs.

In reply, Uganda’s team was reduced to 79 runs in just 19.4 overs. Raj was adjudged player of the match.

The Indian team, who came out to bat after losing the toss, did not have a good start.

After losing two wickets for 85 runs, Ang Krish Radhuvanshi and Raj Bawa played brilliant centuries and laid the foundation for the team’s big score.

Ang Krish was dismissed for 144 runs in 120 balls with the help of 22 fours and 4 sixes.

Continuing the innings, Raj scored an unbeaten 162 off 108 balls, hitting 14 fours and 8 sixes, taking the team to a mammoth score of 405 runs.

Chasing the huge score from India, the Ugandan team looked completely inexperienced. Captain Nishant Sindhu took 4 wickets while bowling lethal and increased the pressure on the opposition team.

The start of the team was not good and the team got the second blow on the score of 12 runs and then the first for just 5 runs.

By 55 runs, half of Uganda’s team had returned. 6 batsmen of the team could not open their accounts. The entire team was bundled out for 79 runs in 19.4 overs.

India tops the group

India secured the top spot in Group B by winning all their three matches. Team India won the first match against South Africa by 45 runs.

In the second match, Ireland was beaten by 174 runs and in the last league match, they achieved a big 326-run win over Uganda.

But his team India Maharaja suffered a three-wicket defeat against the World Giants here. World Giants captain Darren Sammy won the toss and invited India Maharaja to bat first.
