Israel Attacks Iran’s Nuclear Sites, Destroys Arak Reactor

Israel Attacks Iran’s Nuclear Sites: Israel launched a massive airstrike on Iran, deploying 40 jets and dropping 100+ bombs, destroying nuclear sites including the Arak heavy water reactor.

Israel dropped more than 100 bombs on Iranian targets and attacked with more than 40 fighter planes. The Arak reactor was destroyed. Israel attacked several Iranian targets late on Wednesday night. This includes Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, missile production site, and air defense system. Israel also destroyed Iran’s Arak heavy water reactor.

The construction of the Arak reactor first started in 1997. But it was only partially built. When the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action was agreed upon in 2015, Iran said it would not use it in the production of plutonium. The Arak reactor is not operational, but Israel has now eliminated the possibility of it.
