Jammu & Kashmir Police Seize Property: J&K Police seize land of Pakistan-based terrorist Ghulam Rasool Shah in Kupwara. Major blow to Hizbul and JUM terror network in Kashmir. He was plotting against India, sitting in Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir Police seized property. The campaign launched by Jammu and Kashmir Police to break the network of terrorists sitting in Pakistan and plotting to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India has started showing its effect. Local people of the valley are also coming forward to reveal the names of the black sheep hidden among them.
During one such action, Kashmir Police on Wednesday seized the property of a Kashmiri terrorist handler and top commander of banned terrorist organizations Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen (JUM) in Sogam, Kupwara. Meanwhile, in Srinagar, the police have also confiscated property worth Rs 75 lakh of two real brothers involved in drug smuggling.
The police claim that Ghulam Rasool Shah, also known as Rafia Rasool Shah, the son of Abdul Jabbar Shah, was the victim of this action.
Originally from Peer Mohalla Chandigam Lolab, Rasool Shah is currently active in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, on the opposite side of the border. For many years, he was sitting there and playing an important role in operating terrorist activities in this area as well as activating the terrorists active here by providing facilities.
The police spokesperson further said that for the past several years, Rasool Shah has been playing an important role in arranging arms, money, and cadres for the banned terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen and the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen’s active network in Kashmir.
The spokesperson said that apart from Pakistan, Ghulam Rasool Shah is also often seen in Muzaffarabad in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from arranging arms and money from across the border, he also takes the responsibility of safely crossing the LoC for the terrorists in North Kashmir.
Jammu & Kashmir Police Seize Property: The spokesperson stated that approximately two dozen cases have been registered against Ghulam Rasool Shah at various police stations in North Kashmir.
He has also been declared absconding by the court. The attachment of his property was made in connection with the investigation of cases registered against him at Kupwara police station in 2022 under the Prevention of Illegal Activities Act and the Indian Penal Code. After the court’s permission, the police, in collaboration with the revenue department, have confiscated his five kanal, three marla land located in Peer Mohalla, Chandigam.
Meanwhile, in Athwajan, Srinagar, the police have seized the property of two drug smugglers under the NDPS Act. Both of them are real brothers, and their names are Irfan Ahmed Ghani and Ejaz Ahmed Ghani. The value of the seized property is said to be Rs 75 lakh. The confiscated property includes a single-storey house and more land.
