JEE And NEET Exam 2020: Letter Of 150 Academics To PM

JEE and NEET Exam 2020: Letter of 150 academics to PM, says – no better than future of students. More than 150 academics from India and abroad have written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the postponement of Joint Entrance Examination JEE Mains (JEE Mains 2020) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination NEET (NEET 2020) means more students.

Will be messing with the future because it will ruin their precious year. On the other hand, NTA has also issued the admit card of NEET. More than five and a half lakh students have also downloaded within four hours of its release.

Messing with the future is not good

Academics have said in the letter, ‘Some people are playing with the future of students to advance their political agenda. Youth and students are the future of the country, but in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic, their careers have also become uncertain.

There is a lot of apprehension about admissions and classes, which needs to be removed at the earliest. According to the letter, like every year, this year also lakhs of students have passed the 12th examination and now they are sitting in the house eagerly awaiting the next step. It cannot be played at any cost with the dreams and future of our youth and students.

These people wrote a letter to PM

The signatories to the letter include academics from the University of Delhi, IGNOU, Lucknow University, JNU, BHU, and IIT Delhi besides London University, California University, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the Ben Gurion University of Israel.

Why is there opposition to exams?

Actually these examinations are being opposed in view of the corona infection. This confusion about examinations in the Corona period is not about JEE Main and NEET alone, but also in the final year of the university and other examinations. Although the demand for postponing these examinations has been rising for the last several months, the government believes that to maintain the educational quality, it is necessary to conduct them.

Who is protesting?

There are two factions across the country regarding the NEET and JEE Main examinations. One group is in favor of conducting examinations in September, while another is demanding the postponement of the examinations. The class seeking to postpone the examinations is also getting support from the Congress and other opposition political parties.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is an attacker on the government regarding this matter. Rahul targeted the government by tweeting and demanded that a solution should be found by talking to all the parties. Earlier states like Maharashtra, Odisha, Bengal, and Delhi have demanded postponement of examinations.
