J&K Shopian: Three terrorists killed In an encounter. The armed force says Pakistan disregarded truce along the LoC in Tangdhar area of Kupwara locale on Tuesday morning
Srinagar, June 16, Three terrorists were killed in a gunfight in south Kashmir (J&K Shopian)area on Tuesday, authorities said. The gunfight emitted at Turkawangam town during a joint activity by security forces that were propelled in the early hours.
The joint activity was propelled by the police and the military at the main light. As the security forces focused on the psychological terrorist refuge, the concealing terrorists terminated on them setting off the encounter.
“There was a police contribution to the terrorists’ quality in the zone after which a cordon and search activity was propelled. At that point, the gunfight resulted and three terrorists were executed,” a security official said. Two AK-47 rifles and an INSAS rifle were seized from the site, he included. The activity is still in progress.
Upwards of 19terrorists have been killed in five gunfights in south Kashmir since June 7, 17 of them in the Shopian locale. All the terrorists executed in the prior four gunfights were local people. With the killing of the three terrorists in Tuesday’s encounter an aggregate of 17 psychological terrorists have been killed in the Shopian area in the last 10 days in various encounters.
In the interim, the Military said Pakistan damaged truce along the LoC in Tangdhar segment of the Kupwara area on Tuesday morning. “Pakistan started an unjustifiable truce infringement along the LoC in Tangdhar division by shooting mortars and different weapons. The befitting reaction was given,” a Srinagar-based barrier representative said. There was no prompt report of any wounds in the cross-outskirt shelling.
