Kerala Assembly Election 2021: CPM shocks before Kerala assembly elections, 98 workers join BJP.

The CPM suffered a major setback before the Assembly elections in Kerala. The BJP District Committee on Tuesday claimed that two CPM branch committees in Kovalam have merged with the BJP.

According to the district committee, around 100 CPM activists led by Mukkola Prabhakaran, a member of the CPM area committee and former president of the Vizhinjam panchayat, joined the BJP in the presence of Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi and V Muralidharan.

Workers of CPM Nellikunnu Branch Committee and Panavila Branch Committee fully joined BJP.

The district committee claimed that apart from Mukkola Prabhakaran, branch secretary Vayalkar Madhu and other leftist leaders have also joined the saffron party.

Apart from this, BJP Thiruvananthapuram district president VV Rajesh has also announced that the Mulur CPM branch office near Kovalam will be converted into a BJP office.

Regarding CPM workers joining BJP, party state president K Surendran tweeted, ‘More than 100 local officials of @CPIMKerala, @INCKerala and @JanataDal_S joined @ BJP4India in presence of Honorable Union Minister @Joshipradhan Ji .

Meanwhile, the CPM Kovalam Kshetra Samiti’s statement came and he termed the BJP’s claim as false and baseless.

Rahul Gandhi arrives in Kerala to talk to fishermen, ‘election promise’ to create a ministry for fishermen

Assembly elections are due in Kerala this year. Rahul Gandhi is on a tour of Kerala these days. Congress leader and MP from Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi arrived here today to talk to the fishermen.

During this, he promised the fishermen that he would form a separate ministry for the fishermen when he came into government.

Rahul Gandhi arrived at Thangassery beach in Kollam to interact with the fishermen. During this time he was also accompanied by Congress leaders KC Venugopal, Ramesh Chennithala, and Mullapally Ramachandran.

Talking to fishermen, Rahul Gandhi said that just like our farmers do farming on land, you do farming in the sea. He said that farmers in Delhi have ministries, but you do not have them.

Nobody speaks for you in Delhi. During this, Rahul said that the first thing I will do is to create a ministry dedicated to the fishermen of India so that your issues can be protected and protected.
