Lashkar-e-Taiba Commander Nisar Was Killed In Anantnag
Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Nisar was killed in the Anantnag encounter, two soldiers were injured in Kulgam, and terrorists absconded.
Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Nisar Dar has been killed by security forces in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
In the encounter that started this morning in the Sarhama Bijbehara area of Anantnag, the security forces killed the local terrorist commander Nisar, who was hiding in the area, within no time.
After taking possession of the body of the slain terrorist, the security forces launched a search operation in the area.
When it was confirmed that no other terrorists were present in the area, the security personnel rushed from there with the bodies and weapons of the terrorist.
On the other hand, the second encounter started at 4 am today in the Chakkasmad area of district Kulgam.
On receiving information about the presence of terrorists, SOG, Army, and CRPF personnel reached the village and started searching for the terrorists.
Then three to four terrorists hiding in the area, seeing the security forces coming near them, suddenly started firing on them. Two jawans were injured in this firing.
The security personnel started a retaliatory fire on the terrorists while evacuating the injured comrades safely from the encounter site.
When the terrorists saw that the security personnel were dominating them, they managed to escape from there under the cover of firing.
On the other hand, IGP Kashmir Vijaykumar confirmed the death of Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Nisar Dar in the Anantnag encounter.
He said that Nisar was wanted in many other cases including murder. He was active in terrorism from 6 May 2021. Police sources have also confirmed that two jawans were injured in the Kulgam encounter.
The injured jawans have been identified as Rohit Yadav and Ankesh Kumar. Both the injured jawans have been admitted to the Military Hospital for treatment.
