LeT Module Busted: Lashkar-e-Taiba module busted in Anantnag, four OGW arrested.

Police arrested four overground workers while busting a module of Lashkar-e-Taiba in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir.

The police have claimed that with the capture of these four overground workers, the plan of a major attack being planned by the terrorists in Anantnag was foiled.

Not only this, but many youths of the valley also escaped from following the path of terrorism.

These four accused were using the online platform to train the youth of the area to join the terrorist organization.

He was also motivating them to join the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist organization apart from Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The police took all this action on the information of their systems. First of all, the police arrested Amir Reyaz Lone, a resident of Baramulla.

On search, electronic devices and other incriminating material were found from the accused.

When he was questioned, he told that he has been in touch with Hilal Sheikh, an active Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist, for a long time.

His revelations revealed that one of his associates, Owais Ahmed Shaksaz resident Seer Hamdan, Anantnag, makes an improvised explosive device with the help of the Internet.

Based on the information, the police raided the place mentioned by him and arrested him.

Based on his interrogation, two more accused Tamil alias Suhaib Muzaffar Qazi, resident of Qazi Mohalla, Rajpora, Pulwama, and Tariq Ahmed Dar, resident of Qaimuh, Kulgam were arrested.

During interrogation, the police came to know that the Tamil Qazi was in direct contact with the active Lashkar terrorist Aaqib Dar, a resident of Pulwama.

Not only this, he was entrusted with the task of attacking the security forces and for this, he was also given a hand grenade, which was later recovered by the police.

Similarly, Tariq Ahmed Dar was also found in contact with Aslam Dar, an active terrorist of Kulgam. The entire module was working for the active terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba.

These terrorists were planning an attack in Anantnag city. For this, he was entrusted with the responsibility of preparing an IED.

Police said two overground workers were tasked with recruiting youths into the organization while two were tasked with preparing IEDs for the attacks.

Police said that by busting this module, they have foiled the plan of the Anantnag attack.

Not only this, many youths of the valley were saved from following the wrong path due to the impact of the promotion of the online modules.
