Major accident averted in Tral, security forces recovered IED, two injured in grenade attack in Nishat area of Srinagar.
Security forces foiled a major conspiracy of terrorists on Sunday night.
The police seized an IED of 10 to 12 kg. In Srinagar, terrorists carried out a grenade attack in the Nishat area. Two people got minor injuries in this.
The first incident on late Sunday evening is from Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Police got information that terrorists have planted 10 to 12 kg IED in the Behgund area of Tral.
After this, police and army personnel reached the area and started locating the IED.
After some time they traced the IED and a team also reached the spot to deactivate the IED. The terrorists had planted this IED to carry out the big crime.
According to the Kashmir Zone Police, the IED was successfully defused.
Tral was considered an area prone to terrorism, but security forces carried out operations against terrorists in this entire area and killed many.
Even now, terrorists keep trying to carry out incidents in this area from time to time.
Major accident averted in Tral: Police officials say that on getting information in time, a major incident was averted from happening.
On the other hand, terrorists carried out a grenade attack in the Nishat area of Srinagar late on Sunday. Two people present there suffered minor injuries in this blast.
Both were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment where the doctors discharged them after first aid. The Srinagar Police has also confirmed this.
At the same time, the police, army, and CRPF personnel have launched a campaign to nab the terrorists in both areas.
Traumatic accident outside Jammu railway station, speeding SUV crushes Delhi girl, five injured.
A Delhi-based woman and a girl child have died after being hit by a speeding SUV car just outside the Jammu railway station.
Five people including three family members were injured in this accident along with the dead woman and child. The Inspector of the Income Tax Department is also among the injured.
