Mehbooba was restless watching the tricolor waving in Kashmir; Openly accusing the government, no freedom to speak.
People’s Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti does not like the wave of the national flag on various government buildings in Kashmir.
She feels that with the strengthening of nationalism in Kashmir, the existence of her party will shift towards a collapse in the void.
That is why she alleges that there is a feeling of insecurity in the heart of the state administration, so a tricolor has been issued on all the buildings.
She openly accuses the government, yet censures that no one in Jammu and Kashmir has the freedom to speak. Due to this politics, she has dreamed of uplifting the PDP.
Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha issued the order last month, directing both the Mandalayuktas, all the District Deputy Commissioners, and the SSP to hoist the National Flag on the buildings of all government offices in their respective jurisdictions.
Following this order, the tricolor is waving gracefully at the buildings of almost every government institution in Kashmir.
Kashmir-centric parties do not like this. At the PDP headquarters, she was silent for a while when she was questioned in a press interaction in this regard. Then she said what should I say about this.
Pointing towards the Central Government and the Lieutenant Governor, she said that somewhere there is a feeling of non-belief (mistrust) and insecurity. Therefore, this order has been issued.
No governor in the entire country issues such an order, then why in Jammu and Kashmir? This order proves that even today, the central government is feeling low about Kashmir, there is a sense of insecurity among them.
Significantly, Mehbooba said on the issue of the removal of Article 370 that on the day the special status of Jammu and Kashmir ends, there will be no one to hold the tricolor in Kashmir.
After his release from prison in October last year, he had said that I will not raise any other flag until my flag (the flag of the unified Jammu and Kashmir state) is returned to us.
Today is the day when the tricolor is hoisting at every government building in Kashmir.
What can I tell why someone left the PDP: On the sidelines of many senior leaders of the PDP, former Chief Minister Mehbooba said what I will tell is that someone has left the PDP under pressure or for some other reason.
Only those who leave the party can answer this. These are the same people who used to tell everything to the PDP when they were ministers. When these people were MLAs and MPs, they did not leave.
He said that at present, our princely state of Jammu and Kashmir is facing many serious challenges. We will take this princely state into a new phase. We will continue to take back the rights of Jammu and Kashmir.
Center should make tricolor mandatory on the offices of all political parties: Altaf
The Kashmir unit of the state BJP has demanded that the central government ensure that hoisting of the tricolor at the offices of all political parties in Jammu and Kashmir is made mandatory.
Altaf Thakur, senior BJP leader and spokesperson of the BJP’s Kashmir unit, said that some political parties are not enjoying the better conditions in Kashmir.
Altaf has responded to the statement of National Conference General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, in which he said that nothing is going to change by hoisting the tricolor on the roofs in Jammu and Kashmir.
No revolution is going to come from this. He had said that we oppose the BJP’s policies towards Jammu and Kashmir, not the Tricolor.
Mehbooba Ji ,”There will be no one to hold Tricolor ,if Art. 370 is abrogated .” The Art. 370 is no more and tricolor is flying on all government buildings . Now what will you say ,no one from out side the valley has come to hold the tricolor flag ,only people from Kashmir . Didn’t you see the whole Dal Jeel was decorated with national flags during DDC elections . Dear Mehbooba Ji see the changed mood of the valley and adapt yourself other wise you will be lost in the darkness of the night . New crop of leaders have come up with nationalist outlook who feel deceived at the hands of so called main stream parties . Young generation feels better opportunities are there in present situation ,total merger is people centric and the past position was in favor of political class .
