NIA Arrested Ghaznavi Force Terrorist From Jammu Airport

NIA arrested Ghaznavi force terrorist Shahid from Jammu airport, has been deported from Kuwait.

The National Investigation Agency(NIA) and Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force terrorist Shahid Naveed from the airport.

The Kuwait government had deported the terrorist and handed it over to the Indian government. As soon as the terrorist landed at the Jammu airport from Delhi, the NIA team arrested him.

Terrorist Naveed hails from the Mendhar area of ​​Poonch district of Jammu division. Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force is part of Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen.

Shahid Naveed is accused of conspiring to throw grenades at religious places in Mendhar town.

Earlier on 17 February, the Kuwait government had also deposed a terrorist of the same organization, Sherali, and handed it over to the Jammu and Kashmir governments.

Naveed and Sherali used to involve local youth in terrorist activities in the Poonch district.

According to the police, Naveed is also a resident of Dhargalun, Mendhar. Both of them used to motivate the youth for terrorist activities in the border areas of Poonch and Rajouri.

Sher Ali and Naveed used to lure the youth in various ways to join the Ghaznavi force. As soon as Shahid Naveed reached Jammu Airport, the NIA team was already there with the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

As soon as he was taken into custody, he was taken directly to the NIA office for questioning. Sources said that Sher Ali had told about Naveed during the interrogation.

He revealed to the NIA that Naveed is currently carrying out terrorist activities in the district Poonch, sitting in Kuwait.

The NIA investigation has also revealed that Naveed and Sher Ali also used to transport arms and drug consignments coming from slave Kashmir to terrorist organizations in Poonch district.
