Due to the panic, the relatives did not inform the police about it. The body of Uika Hyunga, a resident of village Kunded in Sukma district, was found between Kunded and Missigiguda on Tuesday evening.

There are deep wounds of sharp arms on his neck. In the Naxalite leaflet found near the body, Hyunga has been accused of instigating the youth of the village against the Naxalites. Hyunga’s father was also murdered by Naxalites about five years ago.

On the other hand, the case of the killing of Minderooram by Naxalites in Mandali village of Narayanpur district has been organized. The Naxalites first kidnapped him and took him to the forest of Barbera.

He was later beaten up by accusations of whistleblowing, which led to his death. Due to the threat of the Naxalites of a fortnight old incident, the police was not even informed.

Minderuram’s father was also killed by the Naxalites a year ago. ASP Jayant Vaishnav said that police would go to Mandali to confirm the case

CCTV cameras will be installed to monitor Naxalites

Police has made fresh preparations to monitor Naxal activities. CCTV cameras are being installed in all the four-block headquarters of the district with special central assistance.

These cameras are being installed in intersections, hospitals, bus stands, crowded areas as well as in the hot markets of the inner villages in the forest. Through them, the urban network of Naxalites will be monitored from police stations.

This will force the force to reach the spot quickly in adverse conditions. Naxalites, who have been on the back foot for four years in Bastar, are once again raising their heads. Villagers are killed to establish an empire of panic.
