NIA raids in Ranchi-Khunti in search of Naxalites, digital equipment, and weapons seized.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted a search operation at multiple locations in Jharkhand.

During this, NIA has got many important documents in its hands. During the search operation, NIA also seized several other materials along with digital equipment and illegal weapons.

In fact, the NIA is looking for many Maoist Naxalites in the case attacking the police team, looting arms and ammunition, and killing the police personnel. This case is from 2019.

NIA raids in Ranchi-Khunti: NIA said that it today searched 3 suspicious premises in the Ranchi and Khunti districts of Jharkhand.

This search operation was carried out in connection with the case of 2019, in which Naxalites of CPI (Maoist) attacked the police party.

On May 14, this attack was carried out at Kukru Haat in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district. In this attack, 5 police personnel were martyred, while the terrorists took away their arms and ammunition.

In this case, FIR number 16/2019 was registered on 15 May 2019 at the Tirudih police station of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

Taking this case into its hands, the NIA registered the case again on 9 December 2020.

The NIA said that during the search operation conducted today, the team has also seized digital equipment, illegal weapons, and various incriminating documents along with other material.

At present, the investigation of the case is going on.

During the search in Munger, the encounter between the police and the Naxalites lasted for hours, 100 rounds of firing took place.

There has been an encounter between the security forces and the Naxalites in Munger, Bihar.

This encounter took place between security forces and Naxalites on Wednesday in the inaccessible Ghorakhur hill forest area of ​​the Naxal-affected Shampur OP area.

During this, more than 100 rounds were fired from both sides. However, so far no casualties have been reported in the encounter.

After the police’s retaliation, the Naxalites fled and went underground in the dense mountain forest. After the encounter, the police conducted a search operation in that area for hours.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Jagunathreddy Jalareddy said that he had received information that a Naxalite group of Naxalite Commander Parvesh Da Group was camping in the Ghorakhur hill forest.

All of them had gathered here with weapons and explosives and are in the process of carrying out some major incidents.
