NSAs Of India And Pakistan Will Be Face To Face In The SCO

NSAs (National Security Advisors) of India and Pakistan will be face to face in the SCO meeting today.

After a long time, the National Security Advisors of India and Pakistan will meet at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) starting in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan on Wednesday.

In this meeting, the main focus is to discuss peace restoration in Afghanistan. In this, Pakistan’s Moeed Yusuf is joining India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

However, during this two-day meeting on behalf of India, Ajit Doval has clearly denied any bilateral meeting with Pakistan’s NSA.

At the same time, Pakistan’s NSA has also categorically denied the possibility of talks between the two.

However, he will hold talks with the NSAs of Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and China during this conference.

At the same time, the NSA of India is set to have talks with the NSA of Russia. A schedule of about two and a half hours has also been fixed for this.

In March and April this year, the External Affairs Minister of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar, and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, met at the Heart of Asia meeting in Dushanbe.

However, even then there was no formal bilateral dialogue between the two. Let us tell you that since February, there is a ceasefire between the two countries.

Let us tell you that there are eight member countries of SCO. This includes India, Pakistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, China, and Uzbekistan.

India and Pakistan were made full members in the year 2017. The meeting of this organization was hosted by India in November 2020. It is chaired by Tajikistan for 2021.

The SCO meeting to be held at the present time is also very special because in recent days there has been a lot of bitterness between Pakistan and Afghanistan regarding Afghanistan.

The round of allegations and counter-allegations against each other is going on from both sides.

The special thing is also that this round has started somewhere only after India became an important member of Afghanistan but the ongoing peace talks.
